Here it is. Mother Dragon’s first collection of preloved maternity clothing. I’ll be honest, it took me some time to decide what pieces would make the first collection (decisiveness, at times is not my strong point) and I hope you like it.
My focus for each collection is to provide a selection of maternity pieces, in a range of preloved conditions and in a range of sizes. The odd time I may venture to a specific colour palette or patterns or even a ‘Denim Drop’ but even then, variety is at the forefront of my mind.
In this collection you will find everything from dungarees to cigarette trousers, nightwear to one of my favourite maternity dresses. There’s a beautiful polka dot wrap top, brand new with tags and a t-shirt bundle that has been worn but would be great for laying or even those early days post-pregnancy when there’s more bodily fluid on the outside of your body than you’d care to acknowledge. Items can be bought individually (excluding bundles) but there is no reason for example why the H&M stripped long sleeve top couldn’t be worn under the Seraphine Dungarees. It is important to get as much wear out of each piece in your wardrobe and pregnancy is no different. Now you might find it a challenge to wear the beautiful New Look Tropical Swimsuit as anything other than a swimsuit, but you could always wear it as a bodysuit with a long sleeve top underneath and a pair of jeans. What a striking ensemble that would be. Although I would caution such an outfit in the later stages of pregnancy when you will always need to be two feet away from a toilet.
