I had somewhat of a pink discovery a few years ago, you can read about it here on lovetomtom.com. From never wearing pink, it is now one of my power colours and a permanent fixture in my wardrobe.
It seems there is no escaping pink when it comes to maternity clothes, much like stripes, but I’m glad to see brands are expanding the colour palette to include shades other than pale ‘baby pink’. Check out Mother Dragon’s Pink Edition to see what pink shades are currently giving me inspiration this week.
Individually, these pieces work on their own but I’m a huge fan of contrast so whether it is in colour, texture or style, these pink pieces will give you plenty of outfit options with clothes and accessories you probably already own. Take Topshop’s pale pink breastfeeding t-shirt, add your favourite pair of jeans and a structured blazer, and you’re ready for any occasion. Or what about a block of pink with a Mamalicious breastfeeding t-shirt dress. Add a rich red lipstick and you are good to go. And sometimes, all you need is a hoodie and leggings. The pink baby wearing hoodie from Seraphine will be worn well beyond a maternity wardrobe.
Keep your eye on the shop’s New Arrivals to snap up this Pink Edition.
