One of my favourite pairs of jeans currently in the shop.

I love the shape of these River Island jeans. It's not trend-led or designed for just one season. It's the kind of jean that will stay relevant in a mama's wardrobe for years to come.

I know maternity clothes can feel like hard work but your style doesn't disappear when you become pregnant. Your clothes should still feel like you. That's why I'm always drawn to pieces that are well made, comfortable and timeless, rather than simply designed to get you through nine months.

Pregnancy is just one chapter. Your wardrobe doesn't have to start from scratch because of it.

Can you guess which brand always seems to arrive in the shop looking top-notch?

Even when I grade pieces from this brand as Good Condition (and you know how tough I am with my preloved conditions), I know they've often been worn well over 100 times and there's still plenty of life left in them.

Leave a comment and take a guess 👇🏼

The heat can make getting dressed feel like a challenge during pregnancy, but it doesn't have to be.

Natural fabrics and looser-fitting styles can make all the difference, helping your body breathe and move more comfortably throughout the day.

And let's not forget about style. This vibrant coral dress is one of those easy pieces that requires very little thought. The relaxed fit, soft gathers and button-front detail offer comfort and style in equal measure, making it perfect for warmer days.

Stay well in the heat, mamas 😎☀️

If I were pregnant right now, this is what I'd be wearing.

Maternity jeans and a few pieces from my own wardrobe.

Pregnancy asks a lot of your clothes. They need to be comfortable and practical, but they should still feel like you.

The best outfits are often the simplest ones. The ones you reach for without thinking because they fit your body, your style and your mood.

Would you wear this outfit?

Colour analysis is everywhere right now.
We're told certain colours make us glow, while others wash us out. And maybe that's true.

But is colour analysis a genuinely useful tool that makes getting dressed easier? Or is it just another fashion rule that's complicating the way we get dressed?

Personally, I think understanding colour can be helpful. But I also think wearing a colour you love counts for a lot, even if it's not in your 'season'.

So tell me, have you had your colours done? Which of these tops would you choose?

👇🏼 Trend or useful tool?

Why are there so many skinny maternity jeans?

For years, the styling advice was simple: volume on the top, slim on the bottom. And what has more volume than a growing bump? So it makes sense that skinny maternity jeans became the default.

But as trends change, maternity fashion is catching up. Now we're seeing more straight-leg, wide-leg, mom, barrel and relaxed styles appearing. In fact, they're often the first jeans to sell when they come into the shop.

Skinny jeans haven't disappeared and nor should they; they're just no longer the only option. And choice is always a good thing.

Maternity jeans are also one of the best items to buy preloved. The over-the-bump waistband makes them quite specific, and because they’re usually worn for a short period, many pairs are still in excellent condition with plenty of life in them.

Why do you think skinny maternity jeans dominated for so long? Was it the styling, the fit, or simply a lack of alternatives?
