Hi, I’m Jo Leggiero, founder of Mother Dragon. Thanks for visiting my store. Whether you are shopping for yourself (congratulations!) or someone else, I hope my curated collection of preloved maternity clothes gives you the opportunity to rewear and recycle a range of quality secondhand maternity clothes. Most importantly, I hope shopping at Mother Dragon gives confidence and comfort as you style yourself during your pregnancy. One of my favourite pairs of jeans currently in the shop. I love the shape of these River Island jeans. It's not trend-led or designed for just one season. It's the kind of jean that will stay relevant in a mama's wardrobe for years to come. I know maternity clothes can feel like hard work but your style doesn't disappear when you become pregnant. Your clothes should still feel like you. That's why I'm always drawn to pieces that are well made, comfortable and timeless, rather than simply designed to get you through nine months. Even when I grade pieces from this brand as Good Condition (and you know how tough I am with my preloved conditions), I know they've often been worn well over 100 times and there's still plenty of life left in them. Colour analysis is everywhere right now. We're told certain colours make us glow, while others wash us out. And maybe that's true. But is colour analysis a genuinely useful tool that makes getting dressed easier? Or is it just another fashion rule that's complicating the way we get dressed?
